"Moonlight" 9/21/25
Created on a New Moon this chrome sealed 4 by 5 foot canvas depicts the Moon's surface cast in metal.
While most artist serve the occult nature of abstract creativity we are blessed with journal logs to further understand the truth behind the layers of paint and raw material that mend this piece of artwork.

Written in haste this description peers into the swift everchanging and chaotic nature of artist leaving us with a passage that reads,
"Staring at 'Moonlight' from it's position above my head creates shadows cast from the different rocks. My interpretation of this piece is, The bold chrome draws in attention, as do many things within our gaze; From first glace you may see beauty, if you look deeper you discover it. In the ripples behind the chaos, solace within the shadows, stories voiced through the dust."
Analyzing this first paragraph we hear how the chrome draws in the viewer, as beauty is in the eye of the beholder the piece allows the viewer to make that decision but will nevertheless be drawn in by its bold color. We notice when looking closer the ripples creating depth and detail within the Moon's surface, we see that while the chrome is cast over the true detail we are entranced by not that but the less meaningful aspects of beauty. This is Joseph's way of commenting on the veil materialism cast over emotion.
